The main conclusion is straightforward: expensive equipment alone does not turn 3D printing into industrial manufacturing. Quality must be created by the entire system - equipment calibration, well-founded selection of materials and process parameters, controlled post-processing, an understanding of tolerances, geometry verification, and technical documentation that makes the result reproducible.
The exhibition made it possible to compare these requirements with my own experience and that of the team. This experience covers hands-on production work, production process management, product acceptance, metrological inspection, documentation preparation, as well as the selection of equipment, scanners, software, tooling, and process chemicals. This comprehensive principle is the foundation of the DROR approach.
